Input paper on the impact and relationship between the three accounting models developed by our Chair
jeudi 24 mars 2022
The Chair contributed to the work of an NGS-INSPIRE study group that produced the report "Central banking and supervision in the biosphere : An agenda for action on biodiversity loss, financial risk and system stability" on biodiversity and financial stability.
This contribution took the form of an input paper co-authored by the three scientific co-directors of the Chair (Clément Feger, Harold Levrel and Alexandre Rambaud) highlighting the important role of accounting at three complementary scales, in strong sustainability to address these issues, and in particular the challenge of articulating the three approaches and model carried by the Chair : unpaid ecological costs at the national level, the CARE model at the scale of organizations, and "ecosystem-centric" accounting at the scale of ecosystems.
